This Privacy Policy explains how Countline ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information.
Countline is designed to help you create countdowns, organize important events, use checklists, reminders, widgets, themes, categories, and app customization features. We believe your personal events and plans should stay private.
Countline is developed by Roxman Agency.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
The App does not require an account, registration, or sign-in.
The events, countdown cards, dates, checklists, notes, categories, reminders, widget preferences, theme settings, color settings, appearance settings, and other app preferences you create in the App are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud Backup, the App can also save a backup copy of this data to your personal iCloud account.
We do not use your data for advertising or tracking.
2. Data Stored on Your Device and in iCloud
The App may store the following information locally on your device and, if iCloud Backup is enabled, in a backup copy in your personal iCloud account:
- ○ Countdown cards
- ○ Event names
- ○ Event dates
- ○ Checklist items
- ○ Notes
- ○ Categories
- ○ Reminder settings
- ○ Widget preferences
- ○ Theme, color, and appearance settings
- ○ App preferences
This information is used only to provide the App's core functionality, including countdowns, checklists, reminders, widgets, customization, and backups.
We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third-party advertisers.
3. iCloud Backup
Countline may offer an optional iCloud Backup feature.
If iCloud Backup is enabled, the App saves a backup copy of your App data as a file in your personal iCloud account. You can restore this backup on your Apple devices. This is a manual backup, not continuous synchronization.
iCloud storage and backups are provided by Apple and are controlled by your Apple ID, iCloud settings, and device settings.
We do not operate our own server for storing your App data.
You can manage iCloud settings, backups, and app access to iCloud in your device settings.
4. Notifications and Reminders
The App may ask for permission to send notifications.
Notifications are used only to remind you about events, countdowns, or checklist-related items that you create.
You can enable, disable, or manage notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
5. Widgets
The App may provide Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
Widgets display information from the countdown cards and events you create in the App. This information is processed on your device.
6. Purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases, such as unlocking premium themes and advanced category customization features, including renaming, sorting, and adding categories.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect, process, or store your payment information, such as your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID payment details.
The App may use Apple's StoreKit framework to check purchase status, restore previous purchases, and provide access to purchased features.
Purchase history, refunds, billing, and payment processing are managed by Apple according to Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
7. Analytics and Tracking
The App does not currently use third-party analytics.
The App does not use third-party tracking.
The App does not track you across apps or websites.
The App does not collect advertising identifiers.
The App does not sell or share your data with advertisers.
If we add optional analytics in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required permissions will be requested where applicable.
8. Advertising
The App does not display ads.
We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple services, such as iCloud Drive and the App Store, to provide optional backups and in-app purchase functionality.
The App does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
If we add other third-party services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what services are used and why.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since the App does not require an account and stores data on the device and, if enabled, in an iCloud backup, we do not knowingly receive personal information from users of any age.
11. Data Deletion
Because your data is stored locally on your device and may be backed up to iCloud, you can delete your data by:
- ○ Deleting countdown cards, events, checklists, notes, or categories inside the App
- ○ Turning off iCloud Backup for the App and deleting the backup file
- ○ Deleting the App from your device
- ○ Managing or deleting related iCloud data in your Apple device settings
- ○ Managing your device or iCloud backup settings
We do not maintain a separate server copy of your App data.
12. Data Export and Sharing
The App lets you create a backup file of your data, which you can restore later. Apart from backups you create, the App does not provide separate data export or sharing functionality.
Your countdown cards, events, checklists, notes, categories, and app settings remain within the App and any backups you create.
13. Security
We design the App to keep your information private and under your control.
However, no device, software system, or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and backups.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App after any changes means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
